Tortoise Tales

Ticky and Tacky were Tortoises living in the garden of number 38 letsbe Avenue, Billingham, near frame.

One day they decided what a good idea it was to go to the beach, they were always having good ideas and the beach was not that far away.

So off they set , with towels and trunks and a small lettuce pick nik and a large bottle of pop.

After some time they arrived at the beach and made their way down in the sand towards the sea.

Ticky loved the beach , she was very keen to set up the things and get ready to go for a swim, Tacky was more interested in getting as close to the waters edge as he could.

Ticky shouted out to Tacky to be careful as the waves looked very fierce to a small tortoise, but just as she was in mid sentence a huge wave came and washed Tacky out to sea.

Ticky rushed , as fast as a toroise could to the wateers edge and called out to Tacky but he was nowhere to be seen, oh no ! She thought, but just then she looked up and saw Tacky riding on the surface of the water.

Tacky had been seen by a friendly whale who quickly swam in and picked Tacky up on his nose and carried him back to the safety of the beach.

Ticky and Tacky were pleased to be back together and invited the whale to join in the pick nik , the whale agreed but then ate all of their lettuce, Ticky and Tacky didn't mind , afterall he was a large whale and had saved Tacky in the sea.

Ticky and Tacky said goodbye to the friendly whale and wondered back to the garden with anther story to tell their friends.
